I can no longer imagine my life without rituals. Rituals help me stop and pay attention to what wants to be seen and heard, what may be healed in me. One layer deeper each time. Letting go of the old in order to be reborn again.

 

Rituals cause me to be more conscious in life, they have greatly enriched my life and made it more meaningful. Setting intentions through rituals causes me to be guided by love instead of fear. In this way, I make my dreams come true. Rituals have helped me sink further into self-love because you make yourself important, honour and celebrate yourself. Not to mention, rituals help with surrender and gratitude. Being real with what is, surrendering yourself to life (Mother Earth) and to the great mystery. Feeling guided and protected on your path.

 

No matter how far back we look in history, you will always discover remnants of rituals once performed. Rituals are centuries old and used all over the world.

Many rituals have been relegated to the background in our modern age. A few rituals or customs we still do, but often without attention or awareness of why our ancestors used these rituals. Another thing why I love rituals so much. To feel and acknowledge the connectedness of all that lives. Our ancestors who have gone before us and from whom we can learn a lot.

Ritual is all about opening your senses to allow the magic of every visible and invisible creation of existence to enter your awareness. The medicine of magic is that it gives us the direct entrance to nourish and connect with our soul.

For me, rituals feel like the key to reconnect with ourselves and everything around us with compassion. It helps us live more consciously and experience more harmony in and around us. It is therefore my passion to bring rituals back more into our contemporary lives for anyone who feels attracted to them.

 

For me as a woman, rituals have taken on an even deeper meaning. Rituals helped me tremendously in my healing process. They ensured that instead of cursing my body over and over again, I learned to honour and respect my body. Rituals brought me comfort and resulted in me learning to apply daily self-care rituals in order to live in harmony with my cycle, in all its facets. I have learned to rediscover my feminine qualities and thus gained much more (creative) power, vitality and joy of life. I wish that for every woman!

Rite of the womb

The womb is not a place to store fear nor pain.

The womb is a place to create and give birth to life

 

This special ceremony is for any woman who wants to get more in touch with her feminine power. The womb is our power center. However, there are often overworked events stored there that take us out of our power. This can be birth trauma, unprocessed grief from a miscarriage, trauma from sexual harassment or abuse. But it can also be transmitted trauma from mother to daughter. Or even from generations before. Anything that has caused us fear or deep grief as women. Now is the time to liberate ourselves from that and use our womb for what it was intended. Namely, to create and give birth to new life, and a new version of ourselves every time.

 

The Rite of the Womb (a womb ritual according to Inca shamanic traditions) is a beautiful gift to yourself, to each other and to the world. The Rite is described as a gift to all women. It is a transition and energy of initiation, which is both a healing and a blessing, activating the feminine power.

Free your women lineage

Every woman who heals herself, heals all the women who came before her.

This deeply healing and transformative ritual is for the women who want to stand to face the pain in their female lineage and transform it into their medicine, the light you have to bring to earth. Often this unfolds through lovingly feeling and releasing pain. It is also a wonderful way to honour your foremothers and ask for guidance.

This ritual begins with a shamanic journey guided by a drum attuned to the sacred feminine. During this journey the spirit of the primordial mother takes you to show you what needs to be healed and what is your medicine. Then we get to work making ancestor dolls that represent your feminine lineage. We do this with natural and possibly personally brought materials.

Once the ancestor dolls are ready, we will lovingly connect with your female lineage through visualization. We break and free any cords and contracts that were not created in the name of love.  So that both you and the women before you may be free. We anchor this by tying a white ribbon around each doll.

Your magical ancestor dolls can then be used as power objects on your altar or buried in the earth.

This ritual can be combined well with breathwork.

What is breathwork?

Breathwork or Rebirthing is a healing method in which the breath is consciously applied to transform unwanted patterns, process unprocessed experiences and optimize quality of life. Worldwide and for centuries, the breath has been used to realize deeper harmony, spiritual connection and joy in life. The method of breathing during breathwork is called trauma breathing or fire breathing.

 

Breathwork helps you eliminate negative thinking. It gives you inner peace, better balance and reduction of stress, so also better physical health and vitality.

It helps you get rid of toxins better, strengthens concentration and helps you realize renewal and living from your heart.

Embrace your inner darkness ceremony

Everything you hide in the shadow can not flourish in the light. Anything that you suppress will control your way of life.  

If we learn to embrace and honour our darkness we can start to use it as fertile soil for our inner growth and create the life of our wildest dreams. Our deepest pain will become a powerful medicine for ourselves and the world.

 

During this ceremony we will look together at what you need to do to make contact with your deepest dark, which is often stored in our womb. The dark I speak of are blockages that prevent you from living fully, such as unconscious fears, traumas from this or previous lives. This ritual can have a direct and deep transforming effect, but is not a substitute for trauma therapy. Together we will see if this ritual is suitable for you and what you may need afterwards to continue your path with confidence.

 

The ceremony takes place in a sacred, safe and ritualistic setting. You are ritually cleansed with sage, we invite your spirit guides to be present and I guide you with my drum to spiral deep within.

With this beautiful ceremony, we celebrate and honour the transition from Maiden to Mother. Or from youthfulness to maturity. We honour the warrior in the mother-to-be and that she is a sacred gateway for new life. We recognize that she is an important link between the generation before her and after her. We remind the mother of her wisdom and strength so that she can consciously take it with her to travel the journey ahead.

 

The ceremony consists of several parts. It includes a cocooning ceremony with blessings, a belly decorating ceremony, and the making of power and prayer gifts full of beautiful intentions. The sacred mother blessing concludes with a beautiful salt ritual.

Florida water is originally from Peru. There, Florida water is ceremonially made by women and only in this way is it passed on. This beautiful ritual is rich in flowers and medicinal herbs collected by yourself, but you may also be surprised by flowers and plant medicines that come your way this day. We bring together the knowledge and wisdom of us women and share in abundance. We celebrate each other and Mother Earth.

 

During this ceremony, you will be guided to create your own plant medicine in several steps with some special ingredients.

Rebozo closing the bones ritual

Rebozo is an ancestral ritual of passage which we can do at any time in our lives to reunite the whole being on a physical, mental and emotional level .

Closing the bones and closing in us what needs to be closed in order to open new doors and welcome a new chapter in our existence.

The rebozo closing ritual comes from the Mexican Cerrada tradition and is originally used about 40 days after childbirth to honour, celebrate and care for the mother. It helps the mother bring closure to the intense period of pregnancy and birth. During the ritual, the rebozo cloth is used. The rebozo has been used by women in Central America since time immemorial in many different situations. Special is its use by traditional midwives, as they use it for massage, movement and support during pregnancy, birth and in the maternity period.

 

The rebozo closure ritual is a wonderful form of postpartum care, but it can also support women at several important (transitional) moments in their lives, such as in the event of a miscarriage, divorce, when a woman enters menopause or any other experience in life that involves loss and/or mourning. Moments that make a big impression on us leave traces in our bodies. Stored tension and sorrow can be given space to flow (again) during this ritual. The ritual also works when the experience you want to process or close has been a while ago.

 

The ritual consists of several parts 

 

First part is that you are ceremonially welcomed, tea is drunk together and there is plenty of room to share your story. Also, an intention is ritually set.Second component is a massage. You will be fully massaged by two women with matched essential oils. This helps you open and soften.

The third component is a yoni steam or warm herbal bath. This helps you sweat out what no longer serves you, cleanse and open up.

 

The fourth part is closing with the cloths. This is done by wrapping your body tightly in rebozo cloths in 7 steps. You experience the limits of your body clearly again. It brings you back to the core of your being. And everything in between is released. You are invited to let go and close what needs to be closed.

It is also wonderful to perform the first part of the ceremony with a group of sisters, or friends and/or family. You can then pay for the ritual together and donate it to a loved one. The cost is also significantly reduced this way.
